Spending So Much Time Outside. . .

Picking up Black Walnuts!

Wearing these gloves so my hands don't get all black from the juice.

We have 3 trees like this in the yard and we have never had this many nuts on them.
Some say that means a cold, hard, winter!  Just warning you.

Bags and bags of them were collected.

Thank goodness my neighbor George took them.
All 18 feed bags full.
And we are not done yet.

When I head outside to do work like this that does not require lots of mental stimulation I like to use an emotional oil around my neck and ears and nose.  Mostly so I can smell the oil but also to stimulate a state of walking meditation.  Listening to the birds and bees and just enjoying my time outside.

I also like to drink my oils and these two are favorites of mine.  Remember to always mix your drinking oils in a glass jar not plastic.  To a quart jar of water I might add 2-3 drops of each lemon and citrus fresh.  Shake the jar for about 20 seconds then enjoy while doing your fall yard work.

My New Website~ ~and You Can Have One Too.

This post is for my amazing Young Living Team.
If you are thinking you might want to consider being a part of our team
Hey, then this post is for you too.

As I sit here in Beautiful Lancaster County today it is snowing and it looks lovely.
I am sipping a cup of Slique tea.  Have you tried it yet?
I love the scent and the gentle flavor of this tea.
It is good for curbing your appetite.

I have BIG NEWS for you and I hope you will like it.

As you probably know the Reference Guide for using Essential Oils by: Connie & Alan Higley is a great way to build your Young Living business.  Everyone who uses these oils should have a Reference Guide in the house.  You will never be at a loss as to which oil to use for any condition.  I tell people, Just look it up in the book.

Well we now have another amazing tool to use to share our oils and to build your Young Living.
business.  Please go to my new website:

When you arrive you will land on the "Landing Page."

As you read and scroll down you will see a form.  Fill this form out and click "SUBMIT".  You will then gain entrance to the site.  Be assured that I am the only one who will see your form and I will not share your info with anyone.  This will enable the site to automatically send out a series of emails to you.  With no effort on your part.  Look for these emails in your mailbox over the next few days.  As you read them be thinking, I could also have this website with my name on it to use to build my Young Living business.

Imagine using this site on your business cards and handing them out. . .everywhere.  This is what they call a "Repicating Website".    You can have one too.   Building your Young Living business has never been easier.  This site does some of the work for you.

Each email your prospect receives will refer them back to your site.  The reason I want you to submit the form is so you can see examples of the emails your prospects will receive.  You can then decide if this is something you may want to participate in.  You may cancel at any time.

I am actively looking for business builders within my organization.  I am also looking for new business consultants.  Maybe this is not for you and that's OK.  My Thanks to you for taking a look.  Possibly you know someone who is looking to make extra income or even replace their present income.  I would appreciate it if you shared this site with them.

I appreciate each of you and would love to chat anytime you have a minute.

So I Had A Sick Kitty. . .

Nope not this one.  He was helping me make a wreath for Spring
I cannot wait.  Enough Snow and cold.

This one, the black and white one.

And this one (below) is her partner in crime.

They do stuff like this. . .

 I can reach that pepperoni.

OK, back to the sick cat.
I always use oils on my cats.  They don't like the smell but it takes care of the problem.
I put a drop of RC on the palm of my hand and rubbed her hind foot through it.  Sometimes I just rubbed the palm of my hand on her chest.  She had a sneeze and cough.  All Better Now!

I also diffused Christmas Spirit.
I find that this is a great oil to build the respiratory system.
It is one of my favorites.

Oh and for those dirty ears of his I use V6 oil (4 or 5 drops) with 1 drop of Purification oil on a cotton ball and swab his ears.  Keeps the mites away.
Oh, and I used Young Living Oils on my dogs too.  Saves us money on the vet as it usually takes care of the problem.

As We Ease Into Autumn~ ~ ~

and cold and flu season is here remember to build your immune system with our wonderful oils.
Get the oils into your body so they can do their work.  There are so many ways to do this.
We up our NingXia Red Juice to twice a day.

You can also use our great new NingXia Nitro in the afternoon for a pick-me-up.
Love this stuff.

Drink as many oils as you can.  Mix a drop or two in every glass of water you drink.
All of the citrus oils are great for this.  I specially like mixing orange oil and grapefruit oil.
Remember to use a glass container when you mix oils with your water.  Why you ask?
Because the oils will eat the petrochemicals in your body and assist in detoxing them out of your system.  This means that they will also eat the petrochemicals in the plastic water bottles but then you will have them back into your body if you drink from the plastic bottle.  Yikes!

The easiest way to get the oils into the cells of your body in to apply the oils to your skin.  Just rub a drop or two on and then breath the residual into your lungs by cupping your hands over your nose and breathing deeply.

Clean up those germs in your home by wiping the surfaces in your home with a spritz of Thieves Household Cleaner.  Kill those bad germs.  Wipe the counters, door knobs, light switches, floors and don't forget to clean your phone too.  Be very careful there and also the keyboard on your computer.

Also every night and morning rub a drop or 2 of Thieves essential oil on the feet of every member of your family.  Remember Thieves is a hot oil which is why we rub it on the bottom of the feet because the skin is thicker there.

I have a friend who says that her kids are the healthiest ever since she began doing this ritual.  Every night after their bath they all sit on the sofa and do foot massages.  Sounds like great quality time spent together talking about their day and building their immune system.

Last be sure to diffuse in your home.  You only need to diffuse 15 or 20 minutes at a time.  The oil molecules hang around in the air for a long time and you breath them into your lungs and throughout your body.  Some of the oils that we diffuse are Christmas Spirit, RC, Thieves, Idaho Balsam Fir.
Everyone will be healthier for it.  Try it and see.

What's On Your Nightstand ?

Here is what I have on mine.

Look familiar?  Does this look like your nightstand?

The reason that I keep many of my oils on my nightstand is because I want to remember to use them at least Morning and Night.  (More on that in another post)

This is the tray I am using.  It is an inexpensive vintage aluminum tray that I got at a flea market a few years ago.  I love shopping for antique and vintage home décor.

I remember my Grandmother had a few of these pieces when I was a kid.  I always loved them.

The 3 oils in the center of the tray are the ones I use every day instead of deodorant.  Are you still using deodorant?  Please stop putting chemicals under your arms!  I switched to Young Living Essential Oils instead of deodorant many years ago.  You should consider it too specially if you are a woman.  Chemicals to close to the breasts make me a little nervous.  Just saying.

Each morning I grab one of these oils and put a drop or two in the palm of my hand, rub them together and apply to my underarm.  Lavender is also one that I use.

Sharing lots of hints here.
These two oils are the ones I am using now as I neglected to use them for a few weeks and Sciatica has kicked up for me.  If I use these 2 oils 2 times a day till I get the problem under control then I only have to use them maybe once or twice a week to keep it under control.

I use maybe 6 or 7 drops of one oil in the palm of my dominant hand and rub it across my lower back and down the outside of my hips to my knees.  Then I do the same with the other oil.  This combo really works for me.
* * *
If you are doing this for the first time I would suggest you also use V6 oil to dilute these 2 oils.  Add a few drops in the palm of your hand and stir it around before applying.

Oregano and Thyme oils are considered hot oils so I suggest dilution with V6.  I must say here that I DO NOT dilute for my own use.  I have been using these oils for so many years that I have no issues with them.  The area does heat up though.  It feels hot so don't be concerned if you also have this experience.  The heat will slowly decrease to a nice warm hug.

One more hint.  I love these enzymes. I think these are the best I have ever tried.   Have you tried them yet?  They are packaged in a blister pack.  (See picture to left of box) I use one of each color before bed as well as before each meal.  Controls gas and bloat so well.
I always have a pack in my purse so I can take them on the go also.

Thanks so much for stopping by and share your experiences with Young Living products in the comments section.  I would love to hear.

I also want to say here that the experiences I write about are only my personal experiences.  I believe that we are all responsible for our own health.  Choosing who we see and what we do is up to us.  We must do what feels good or comfortable to each of us.  I am not saying that you should not see a doctor I am just sharing here what I do personally.  I have always been one to look outside-the-box, to look for a better way.  Possibly it will cause you to think that their are alternatives you may want to consider.

To Your Health & Happiness,

So I Stopped At The News Stand Today. . .

. . .And look what I found.  I was so excited that I had to share it with you.

A magazine from the publishers of "Success" magazine.
I wanted you to see the cover so that you could easily find it
in the magazine rack.

All about Young Living Essential Oils.

The magazine is of wonderful quality and the pictures are much better than these that I took.

It seemed appropriate to take the pictures in my garden.
So here is a little tour of my garden.

This pot sits at the bottom on the back steps and is planted with herbs.

This is my thyme that grows by the patio.

Caramel was sleeping on the wicker chair on the patio.  Could not wake him up so you could see his lovely eyes.

So many volunteer sunflowers come up by the birdfeeder.

Love daylilies.  They grow almost anywhere and come up every year.
Almost effortless gardening.

So now you know why I was so excited.  I hope you will go out and get a copy for yourself and enjoy the read with a glass of iced tea with a drop of lemon or peppermint oil in it.  I like mine with a drop of grapefruit oil.   That's my plan.

Enjoy this lovely summer weekend.
Please stop by my blog often.
With Gratitude,
Ahrisha

~ ~ ~And So It Begins~ ~ Join Me For The Journey

Hello Friends~ ~ ~

Some of you already know me from my first blog Joyously Living Life.  It is a blog about the things that I love spending my time doing.  Decorating my home and gardening.  Cooking, one of my great joys, and knitting and antiquing.  In this new blog I want to share with you another aspect of my life.  A way of life that has become second nature to me~ ~ ~Young Living Essential Oils.

For 20 years now I have been using these oils and natural products in my life everyday.  Seriously, everyday for the last 20 years.  The why's and the how's of using essential oils is really what I will be sharing here.  I will be teaching you how you can also use essential oils to improve your health and wellbeing.   I was so impressed by what they did for my health that I began sharing essential oils with everyone I met.

This sharing lead to many people that I know also having a story to tell about how Young Living Essential Oils changed their lives.  These people began purchasing and using Young Living Essential Oils on a regular basis and they also began sharing with their friends about how wonderful these oils are.  This sharing has led to a wonderful business not just for me, but for many of the people on my team.   A team of people who work together to earn money for their family's.  To supplement their main income earner or to become the main income earner for the family.

Before all this could happen I had to learn how to use these essential oils.  That is what I will be sharing with you here.  I had to learn that lavender essential oil was so very good for healing cuts and burns that I always keep a bottle by my kitchen sink to use if I burn myself or slip with the knife while slicing.

The Young Living Essential Oil Company has been in business for 20 years now.  The company owns many farms throughout the world.  We grow most of the herbs used to make our single oils and distinctive blends.  Each farm has it's own distillers on site so the plant material is fresh as it goes into the distillers.  It is not trucked for many miles before it is distilled.

I know how important this is first hand.  A few years ago I spent a wonderful week in Utah at one of our Young Living farms during the lavender harvest.  10 of us who are distributors for Young Living spent every day working side by side with the president of the company harvesting and distilling lavender.  It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

I will also be sharing how I use Young Living Essential Oils on my pets.  We all love our pets.  They are "family" so why not treat them special in your care of them.
This will be a fun journey for me and I hope that you will join me as I share with you~ ~ ~A Joy that became a habit that grew into a business that I love doing everyday.

Come back and see me again soon.
